Senior engineer, senior economist. Since August 1976, Mr. Chen has been employed as deputy general manager, general manager of Shanghai Sea-lion machinery Co., LTD., group general manager and vice chairman.

After many years of further study, Mr. Chen has strong professional knowledge. After returning to the company, he combined theory with practice and devoted himself to laundry machinery manufacturing industry, exploring new ways of enterprise development together with technicians. Especially in July 2009, he led the group's scientific and technical staff to tackle the tunnel washer project. In order to achieve the national "12th five-year" science and technology support project, he took the lead, worked hard, gave up holidays, led the team members to visit users, researched the market, consulted materials, and carried out project demonstration. The key parts in the project are calculated and analyzed by finite element method and are optimized the design by using 3D design technology. When the prototype entered debugging in July 2010, he never let go of any mistakes, and he would resolutely improve the product performance as long as there was any progress. We want to aim at the world-class level.' he said. After six months of debugging and strict testing, various indexes of tunnel washer set (Sea-lion tunnel washer set) have reached the international advanced level, and 16 patents have been applied, including 8 invention patents. Mr. Chen personally drafted the tunnel washer industry standards and national standards. The successful development of the Sea-lion tunnel washer fills the gap in China, making China as the fifth tunnel washer manufacturing country in the world that has independent intellectual property rights and core technology. The tunnel washer has been used by customers in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing and other cities, and has achieved good social and economic benefits.

In 2011, Mr. Chen led the science and technology personnel to develop the towel folder, industry garment folder, tunnel dryer, 200kg of large capacity washer, laundry logistics bag lifting system and other modern advanced laundry equipment, it has made outstanding contributions to China's laundry machinery industry to catch up with the world's advanced level, energy conservation and emission reduction in the laundry industry, and transformation and upgrading of the traditional service industry.

Mr. Chen was awarded the 2004 advanced scientific and technological worker of the year by the CPC Zhangjiagang municipal committee and municipal people's government and also elected as the 12th and 13th representatives of Zhangjiagang national people's congress. In May 2011, he was awarded the 2010 Suzhou May Day labor medal by Suzhou federation of trade unions.

He has been committed to overseas market development since graduation in 2012. Thanks to his experience of studying abroad, he understands the importance of being open, inclusive and innovative, and has exported Sea-Lion products to more than 90 countries among 5 continents. After years of efforts, the market coverage and brand awareness of Sea-Lion have been significantly improved. He has visited customers in United States, Germany, France, Singapore, Thailand etc. for many times to learn the performance of Sea-Lion machines and to introduce new products. What his sincerity and efforts brings is the trust and recognition from customers and overseas partners. He and his team have participated in many international exhibitions like Clean Show and Texcare Frankfurt, which shows overseas customers the good performance and superb production process of Sea-Lion products and our honest service.
